2009 Love Light Tree
Celebrate the life of somene you cherish and light up the holidays for a terminally ill person in our community. By making a donation to Good Samaritan Hospice, you may sponsor a "Love Light" in honor or memory of someone who has touched your life and left it changed forever. Your contribution helps provide hospice care and free grief support programs throughout the Roanoke and New River communities.
For each donation made in memory or honor of a loved one, a "Love Light" displaying his/her name will be placed on our trees. The Love Light Trees are on display at Tanglewood and New River Valley malls throughout the holidays. For a donation of $25 or more, a hand-crafted porcelain ornament will be sent to you or to the person of your choice. Monetary donations given to Good
Samaritan may be designated for discretionary use by
the organization (as patient care needs arise and to
assist in offsetting operational expenses such as
the non-reimbursed bereavement and grief and loss
programming) or to our endowment fund through the
Foundation for Roanoke Valley. Many families like to
memorialize or honor a loved one by requesting
donations to Good Samaritan to mark a special
occasion.
