Participants are encouraged to revisualize their goals as caregivers and identify the “hooks” that make them feel ineffective. Suggestions for restoring balance and re-energizing are explored.

Discusses ways to introduce the concept of hospice to families in a comfortable and natural way. Highlights cues that patients and families give that indicate they are ready for hospice care.

Encourages administrators and staff to think about stressful relationships in more creative, flexible ways that get us “unstuck” and foster healthy resolutions.
