NRV “Lunch Bunch”
You are invited to join the NRV “Lunch Bunch” for Good Samaritan Hospice families and the general community who have lost a loved one over the past year. The group meets at 1pm at a local restaurant in Christiansburg for food and friendship the first Tuesday of each month. “LIVING WITH LOSS” SUPPORT GROUP
Good Samaritan Hospice will lead a “Living with Loss” support group in the New River Valley. The group is open to adults who have lost a significant person in their lives. The eight weekly sessions combine education with group activity and discussion in a confidential, supportive environment. Each session is led by licensed social workers, specializing in bereavement care.
The New River Valley group begins September 8 and will meet on Wednesdays from 1:30 – 3 p.m. at Good Sam’s NRV office – 1160 Moose Drive, Christiansburg.
The fee is $40 (scholarships available) and pre-registration is required. Groups fill rapidly on a “first come” basis. For more information or to register, call Good Sam at 381-3171 (NRV).
